Participation due to FISU Regulations

Who can participate in World University Cycling Championship:

  1. students who are currently officially registered as proceeding towards a degree or diploma at a university or similar institute whose status is recognised by the appropriate national academic authority of their country,
  2. former students od the institutions mentioned in a) who have obtained their academic degree or diploma in the year preceding the event.

All competitors must satisfy the following conditions:

  1. be a national of the country they represent,
  2. be at least 17 and less than 28 years of age on January 1st in the year of the event.
  3. every cyclist must have a valid UCI international amateur licence, valid for the year of the Championship and issued by his National federation which is affiliated with UCI.

Each country may enter a maximum of twenty (20) competitors:

  1. for Road Race Events a maximum of four (4) men participants and four (4) women participants
  2. for Mountain Bike Events a maximum of six (6) men participants and six (6)women 

The delegation may include the following officials, according to the participants entered:

  1. up to nine (9) participants two (2) officials

Entry forms:

All entry forms must be submitted via FISU Accreditation System – www.wuc.in-1.it

Countries that have not yet access to the FISU Accreditation System are asked to contact the FISU office for credentials – [email protected]

Deadline for entry:

  1. General entries –   09.02.2014.
  2. Quantitative entries – 09.04.2014. (with the number of officials and participants in each sports event, and with the payment of the deposit of 25% of the participation fees),
  3. Nominative entries – 09.06.2014. (with the list of competitors and substitutes, the events to which they will participate and the necessary photographs),

Participation fees:

The competing countries, upon arrival, shall pay their dues for participation fees 60 Euro determined by the Executive Committee per day and per person to the Organising Committee (reduced by 25% deposit paid in advance).
